About Erin

I’m a portraiture and lifestyle photographer based in Omaha, NE. My photography journey started back in high school as a photography editor on the newspaper staff. It's been such a big part of my life for so long and I feel extremely grateful for that. From there - I went on to college and majored in Photojournalism and New Media. I also worked on my college’s newspaper staff as a photographer. After graduation - I started working full time in various communications and creative fields while also photographing on the side. I still currently work full time for a nonprofit that I love - Omaha Conservatory of Music - as their Director of Marketing. I take on only a handful of sessions every season because of that - but don’t let that stop you from contacting me! I would love to chat about possibilities and if for some reason I’m unavailable - I have a really great lineup of other local photogs I can recommend!

FAQ

  • I live in the great city of Omaha, NE with my husband Kyle, our two daughters, our old basset hound mix Angus & our mischievous cat Dibs. I love my city - I love when I meet people who are staying in Omaha for the first time and hearing their reactions. We're not some small city surrounded by cornfields, I mean - there are cornfields. But there's more to us than that. We have the best zoo in the world, and it's one of my favorite places to go. We have a vibrant and eclectic music scene, and I try to frequent shows as much as I can. I also love to travel. My blog is aglow with images from the places we've been. If you're not from here and you want me to come to you - I am so down. If you're not from here and want suggestions on cool places to photograph at in Nebraska - I got you covered.

  • Because I work fulltime and only photograph in my free time, depending on the season - portraiture sessions like family photos, senior pictures, brand and editorial sessions usually take me no more than 2-3 weeks to turn around. Full wedding albums can sometimes take 4-8 weeks depending on how many sessions I have that season. I try to get galleries back to clients as quickly as possible. If you have questions about this - let’s chat!

  • For weddings - to reserve your date I require a signed contract and a 30% retainer payment/deposit. Unfortunately I cannot hold any dates until these both are received. The remaining amount due is due 14 days prior to the wedding day.
