delights at the flatiron
food, gosh it's one of my favorite things. i mean, other than needing it to live - i just love the stuff. anything from junk food (i am a potato chip queen) to great quality homegrown food - put it in front of me and i will eat it (except pickles, those things are just downright disgusting).
my boss/b.f.a.m matt and i had the really great opportunity to photograph a few of omaha's premiere restaurants this past week, one of those being the the flatiron cafe in downtown omaha. the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming and our friend robert happens to be the head chef at this swanky joint. the proprietor and he were very kind enough to let us not only invade their space but also try each one of these tasty dishes. i was - needless to say, very happy about this. robert - an offbeat but laidback bensonite, is a genius when it comes to food. if i could afford to eat at this place every day, i certainly would.
oh yeah and food photography - i am really diggin' on you.
