damien jurado with max holmquist

i used to listen to damien jurado a lot in college and when i was younger. his music really resonates down in me for that reason and also - for many more. so i'll jump at any chance to see him live. you know how music can hit this place inside of you and sometimes on a good day it can sound really hopeful and right and then on bad days it can sound horribly sad but also - right? that's the best way i can describe his style, to me anyway.  a good buddy of mine - max holmquist - opened up for him and really fit. max has a voice that was once described to me as - soaking in the bath with a full glass of wine and lots of candles (nice descr. turk). thank you both for a memorable night!
